Ignited by the restrictions of the pandemic, I decided to create an art piece to shed positive light and add sparkle to a time when the world was dealing with darkness, fear, and the unknown. I was inspired by a photo of my daughter, Ava, dancing, so carefree and happy. Through the additional use of broken glass and light refraction, I was able to complete a dynamic painting where the light beautifully danced and moved, capturing the same energy my daughter had in that picture.

What started out as a simple act of creativity turned into my passion. As the pandemic continued, I decided to continue creating pieces that represented beauty with edge and grace.

I am excited for this journey and the opportunity to share my creations. My mixed media pieces are inspired by the beauty in our world and incorporate broken glass, Swarovski crystals, 24K gold foil, and/or resin to make each piece unique.
