Contemporary mixed-media artist exploring fashion, identity, and the textures of memory.
Neha Shah is a contemporary mixed-media artist whose work pulls from the language of fashion, the geometry of motion, and the quiet intimacy of portraiture. Her paintings layer stained wood veneer, 24-carat gold leaf, broken glass, resin, and alcohol ink into surfaces that catch the light differently from every angle.
Trained as a designer and rooted in a love for material, Neha builds each piece in conversation with its eventual home — many of her larger works are commissioned for private collectors who want art that reflects a specific story, space, or moment.
Her studio practice is collaborative by design: she meets with collectors, asks careful questions, and translates personal narrative into surface and form. Ten percent of every commission is donated to a charity chosen by the collector.
A look at the layering of pigment, resin, and texture that gives each work its dimension.
